How do you make more money to beef up your savings? You create a business that can be another revenue stream on top of what you currently bring in. There are plenty of turn-key ways to do this. From network marketing to franchises, someone has formed a system that if learned correctly may earn you a nice side or replacement income. Depending on which one that you choose, the start-up costs can be small or HUGE for these!

But then there are schmucks like me that want to forge our own industry, build our own companies, and deal with all of the planning and stress that goes into starting a company. Come to think of it, why the heck am I doing this? Oh, oh, oh yeah because I’m a bit of a control freak that thinks that the world can benefit from my idea. But the bigger mission is to build something great, be in control of what I build, do something that I’m passionate about, and make enough income that can support my dream lifestyle.

I’m not knocking franchises and network marketing but I’ve tried to build systems for others with products or services that I’m not passionate about and it has been to my detriment. I’ve failed horribly and miserably at them. Not that I didn’t try but I didn’t have the realness factor. People could see through me from a mile away. No matter how hard I tried to convince myself that I “LOVED” this product, I didn’t.

The Bootstrap Chronicles will be all about you using your talents, desires, and passions to develop enough income to supplement income or to replace income. Ultimate Money Fight Life is all about you living your life with purpose. I’ve had the pleasure of working a job that was unfulfilling and something I totally hated for years. What was the thing that kept me bound? Money! It is all of us that have a price, whether you accept it or not. The main question is how much do you cost? And how much are you willing to pay for yourself?

Saving is good. Investing is better. Saving and investing passive income is GREAT. This column is all about doing and taking UMF Life to the next level.
